Install Windows 10 ISO in Virtual Box

Virtualization Software

Recommended Hardware Requirements

For a smooth installation experience, ensure that your system meets the recommended hardware requirements set by Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS. VirtualBox recommends a minimum of 4GB RAM, 10GB disk space, and a dual-core processor.

Installing Windows 10 ISO in VirtualBox

### Step 1: Install VirtualBox

Download and install VirtualBox from here. Once installed, start the program and accept the network interfaces to enable connectivity between your host machine and the virtual machine.

### Step 2: Create a New Virtual Machine

Click on "New" to create a new virtual machine. Give it a name, select Type as Linux and Version as Ubuntu (64-bit). Select dynamically allocated storage type and choose the disk in the storage devices.

### Step 3: Insert the Windows 10 ISO

Insert the Windows 10 ISO into the virtual machine and close the VM settings.

### Step 4: Start the Virtual Machine

Start the virtual machine by clicking on the "Start" button. Follow the installation wizard to complete the setup process.

### Step 5: Remove the ISO

After restarting, Ubuntu will ask you to remove the ISO. If it's already removed, press Enter to continue. Otherwise, open VM settings and remove the ISO.
